Flight Disruption Fog, Jambi Garuda Plane To Jakarta Postponed

JAMBI - Garuda Indonesia aircraft flight from Sultan Thaha Airport, Jambi to Jakarta experienced a 45-minute delay due to limited visibility, Monday, August 25.

"The delay of about 45 minutes who will fly in the morning has been delayed. There is no problem with the plane going down," said Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport GM Ardon Marbun in Jambi City, quoted from Antara.

According to him, the delay was caused by the impact of the weather. As a result, visibility is reduced.

The visibility (local time) at 06.30 WIB ranges from 1,500 meters. Then at 07.00 WIB, visibility decreased to 650 meters due to fog.

The Garuda aircraft with flight number GA 131 from Jambi to Jakarta, which is scheduled to fly at 06.50 WIB, has finally been delayed. The plane was only able to take off at 07.35 WIB.

"It was only 45 minutes late, now the flight schedule and landing are normal," said Ardon Marbun.

Meanwhile, information from the Meteorology, Climatology, Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Sultan Thaha Jambi reported that the weather in Jambi this morning was generally foggy to cloudy. Now the visibility has returned to normal to 10,000 meters.
