OKU Samsat Distributes Motor Vehicle Tax Whitening Program

BATURAJA - Officers of the Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency One-Stop One-Stop Administration System (Samsat) Office, South Sumatra distributed brochures of motor vehicle tax bleaching programs to motorists crossing protocol roads in the area.

"The distribution of brochures for the 'Merdeka Pajak' bleaching program targets motorists who pass at the Baturaja Upper Market 4 intersection," said Head of the OKU Samsat Determination, Opening and Reporting Section, Awang Herianto in Baturaja, Saturday.

He said the activity was carried out as a form of socialization so that the public would know about the bleaching program.

According to Awang, since this program was implemented on August 17, 2025, the enthusiasm of the community is quite high where the average per day is more than 100 residents who pay motor vehicle taxes at the OKU Samsat Office.

"At every opportunity since the Merdeka Pajak program was implemented, we have intensively carried out socialization both through social media, commercial and direct socialization," he said.

He explained that the bleaching program, which is valid until December 17, 2025, is intended to provide relief for people who are in arrears in paying motor vehicle taxes.

The public is sufficient to pay a one-year motor vehicle tax and arrears-free as well as administrative sanctions for tax arrears the previous year, free of costs for BBN KB-II, progressive tax fees and SWDKLLJ fine-free.

To make it easier for the public to pay vehicle taxes, he continued, his party also operates Mobile Samsat (Samling) car services that are on standby in strategic places such as market areas and government offices in the region.
