PPTIM Holds 2025 Aceh Culinary And Cultural Art Festival

The Manager of the Taman Iskandar Muda Center (PPTIM) held the 2025 Aceh Culinary and Cultural Art Festival at the Plaza Festival Mall, Jalan HR Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, from August 22 to 31.

According to the organizers' press release on Saturday, the festival serves a variety of traditional foods and drinks, special handicraft products, as well as Acehnese art and cultural performances.

The event with the theme "Aceh for Indonesia, Harmoni Nusantara Towards a Golden Indonesia" includes displaying a likok pulo dance, dalail khairat, and barzanji remembrance.

The festival also includes the implementation of the national level Jaroe Ratoh dance competition from 23 to 30 August 2025, which was attended by around 2,200 students from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.

General Chairperson of PPTIM Muslim Armas said the festival was aimed at strengthening the friendship and togetherness of migrants from Aceh as well as promoting culinary, artistic and cultural wealth of Aceh.

"Promotion and expand the love for Acehnese culinary, art and culture, including traditional dances, such as Ratoh Jaroe, and others," Muslim said.

Muslims hope that the 2025 Aceh Culinary and Cultural Art Festival can make Acehnese culinary, arts and culture better known to the public.

"By getting to know Aceh more, it is hoped that more and more tourists will be interested in visiting Aceh. This is also our effort to promote tourism and Aceh's investment potential," he said.

The 2025 Aceh Culinary and Cultural Art Festival has started since Friday (22/8). However, the opening ceremony will be held on Sunday (24/8).

Minister of Culture Fadli Zon, Wali Nanggroe Aceh Teungku Malik Mahmud Al-Haytar, and DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung are scheduled to attend the festival opening ceremony.
