Visiting JIS, Malut United Brings Mission To End Clean-sheet Persija

JAKARTA - The third week of the 2025/2026 Super League will be North Maluku United with a visit to the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Visiting Persija Jakarta headquarters, the visitors took the mission to end the hosts' clean-sheet.

This was stated by Hendri Susilo as the coach of North Maluku United. During a press conference ahead of the match on Friday, August 22, 2025, afternoon WIB, the coach was optimistic about this determination after seeing the slick record of his team.

"This is football, yes. This is up to two times that Persija has not conceded, but in football everything can happen. God willing, we can break the Persija goal," said Hendri Susilo at JIS.

From the two matches that have been undertaken, Persija has scored seven goals and has not conceded. Meanwhile, North Maluku United's record is no less fertile by recording six goals.

Not only armed with slick records, Hendri Susilo's optimism for his team is also high because North Maluku United is currently filled with quality players.

One of the mainstays of North Maluku United to break into Persija's goal are David da Silva and Ciro Alves. Both were even recorded as having broken into Persija's goal while defending Persib Bandung.

"Until now, we are very ready to fight Persija. We have prepared everything. Hopefully what we have designed is going well here," said Hendri confidently.
