Just With The KPK Orange Vest, Immanuel Ebenezer Hopes To Get Amnesty From Prabowo

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer hopes to get forgiveness or amnesty from President Prabowo Subianto. He conveyed this before getting into a prisoner's car that would deliver him to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Detention Center (Rutan).

"Hopefully I, I hope, will get amnesty from President Prabowo," said Imannuel Ebenezer to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, August 22.

Immanuel was then asked to get into the prisoner's car along with other suspects. He just officially became an orange dream after being caught in a sting operation (OTT) by the KPK on Wednesday, August 22 evening.

Of the 14 people who were arrested, 11 were then named as suspects in extortion in the management of work safety and health certificates (K3) at the Ministry of Manpower. The details are as follows:

The determination of the suspect began with an intensive examination and had found two pieces of evidence. It is suspected that this extortion has been going on for a long time.

This allegation arose because of the large amount of evidence found, namely 15 cars and 7 motorbikes and Rp170 million and US$2,201 in cash.

All suspects are suspected of violating Article 12 letter (e) and/or Article 12B of Law no. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
