Nicholas Saputra Is The First In The Film Who Is He, Musical To Garin Nugroho

JAKARTA - Nicholas Saputra feels nervous about promoting his latest film, Who is he. Apart from his latest project, this film is also the first time for him.

"I was really nervous tonight because I was better off being told to shoot than facing people who would watch my movie," said Nicholas Saputra.

This film is his first collaboration with director Garin Nugroho. In the first collaboration, he had to sing and act throughout the film.

First time working with Garin and many things to come first. Of course nervous, excited, hopefully those who watch can feel all the energy," continued Nicholas.

"We are doing this because we love our work. We break down, we are happy but we are happy doing it," he said again.

The first experience was also felt by Dira Sugandi and Monita Tahalea. Both are used to singing on stage, now singing and acting in films.

"When acting in front of the camera, sometimes the front camera might have to be down-tone. But I'm happy like a masterclass. Mas Garin is not stingy with knowledge and the difference is that the process is longer even though he jokes more," said Dira Sugandi.

"It definitely feels proud, honored even though there are many challenges, but what I remember is the process and is guided and assisted by the process of growing until the day of filming arrives. It feels like we don't act but share the stage because we encourage each other," said Monita Tahalea.

The film Siapa Dia tells the story of Layar (Nicholas Saputra), a director who looks for inspiration for the next film by dismantling his great-held suitcase that has led to the history of cinema in the past.
