Often Aggravated, Minister Maman Equalizes MSMEs With These Body Organs

JAKARTA - Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman revealed that so far MSMEs and Cooperatives have often been underestimated by many parties.

This Golkar Party politician then conjectured that MSMEs with an anus body organs were often considered weak and not as important as other organs.

This was conveyed by Maman when opening the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Kadin UMKM and Cooperatives 2025. Untuk itu, Maman menilai, langkah Presiden Prabowo Subianto yang menjadikan koperasi sebagai agregator dan UMKM sebagai lini terbawah merupakan kebijakan yang tepat karena dapat menjaga pertumbuhan ekonomi negara.

"Alokasi anggaran Rp335 triliun kepada program makan bergizi gratis (MBG) yang paling menikmati hasil terbesar adalah sektor usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah," tandas dia.

According to him, SMEs have a role in supporting economic growth.

The reason is, until now there are 57 million to 60 million MSME business entities that are active and continue to stimulate when the country's economy stagnates.

For this reason, Maman assessed that President Prabowo Subianto's move to make cooperatives as aggregators and MSMEs as the lowest line was the right policy because it could maintain the country's economic growth.

"The budget allocation of IDR 335 trillion for the free nutritious food program (MBG) which enjoys the largest results is the micro, small and medium enterprises sector," he said.
