Bupati Novi Rahman Keciduk Auction Case Office, Legislator Dapil Nganjuk: Immoral Deeds

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the House of Representatives Bimantoro Wiyono commented on the Hand-Catching Operation (OTT) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) against Regent Nganjuk Novi Rahman Hidayat for alleged corruption of the office auction.

Legislators from Nganjuk dapil East Java assessed, if Novi was proven to do the process of buying and selling positions in the selection of village devices and staff in the regent's office with a nominal of Rp 50 million to Rp 100 million, it would be very embarrassing.

"What a shameful and alarming immoral act. That means the leader never learns from the mistakes that have happened. Remember, the previous Regent of Nganjuk, Taufiqurrahman, was also hit by OTT KPK in the case of buying and selling positions," bimantoro said, Monday, May 10.

Gerindra politician revealed, that the case of buying and selling positions in the era of Regent Taufiqurrahman impacted on 1,178 honorer K1 nganjuk district which is not clear its fate until now.

Therefore, Bimantoro hopes, all village devices that have been selected through the selection of the sale and purchase or auction of this position are stopped and do not need to be appointed.

"Because it will definitely have an impact on the public services provided to the community," he said.

Nevertheless, Bimantoro asked the Nganjuk community to respect the legal process conducted by the antirasuah commission. According to him, as this case progresses the public must put forward the presumption of innocence.

"Let's keep putting forward the presumption of innocence and respect the legal process that kpk is doing," bimantoro said.
