Lee Chae Min Practices Mukbang To Koreo For The Drama 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty'

JAKARTA - Actor Lee Chae Min feels the new challenges for the drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty. Through this drama, he first collided with Im YoonA.

"The first time playing sageuk was true, I felt pressured because of his role as king, but there were many senior actors like YoonA who helped me. I enjoyed the shooting process," said Lee Chae Min at a Bon Appetit press conference, Your Majesty on Wednesday, August 20.

Lee Chae Min plays King Yi Heon, a king who is very strict on food at the palace so that it becomes a burden among palace employees.

Yi Heon can look dokky, sometimes he is dimensional. He saw the first foreign Ji Yeong ( YoonA character) like a ghost but he has curiosity," Chae Min said about his character.

I watched a mukbang video to do a dining scene and tried to control facial expression. The director also did well," he said.

Apart from playing scenes, Lee Chae Min also felt many scenes that he did either inside or outside the palace.

"I am very full after eating on the set. Another challenge, because I am king, I think it will continue at the palace but I will leave," continued Chae Min.

I like getting out of the palace and running, fighting and in my palace I have to eat. Why does this king always do things and leave the palace. It's very difficult for him, I think it's the most intrigue and interesting from the character as king," said Lee Chae Min.

The Korean drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty tells the story of a modern chef who was thrown into the past and demanded to become a royal chef. He tries to melt the king's heart with his cooking.

Bon Aketit, Your Majesty will air starting August 23 on Netflix.
