Super League Standings 2025/2026: Winning In A Row, Persija At The Top
JAKARTA - The second week of the 2025/2026 Super League was completed on Monday, August 18, 2025. Persija Jakarta, which has won in a row, has topped the standings so far.
The closing match of the second week featured Persijap Jepara hosting the defending champion, Persib Bandung. The match which took place at the Gelora Bumi Kartini Stadium, Jepara, ended in a 2-1 victory for the hosts.
Meanwhile, the advantage at the beginning of this season still belongs to Persija. The Kemayoran Tigers recorded two wins, 4-0 over Persita Tangerang and 3-0 Persis Solo. The result brought Mauricio Souza's team to the top of the standings with six points.
Rizky Ridho and his friends' appearance also continued the clean sheet record and made Persija the most productive team so far by scoring seven goals. They are able to look impressive both at home and when they travel.

Following under Persija, there was Borneo FC who both gained six points from two wins. Pesut Etam secured maximum results by defeating PSBS Biak and Bhayangkara FC each with a score of 1-0.
Until this second week, only Persija and Borneo had written the perfect score. You see, ranked third to sixth, each team recorded one win and one draw.
Meanwhile, the seventh to 11th ranked teams were only able to record one win and one loss, including the defending champion Persib Bandung.
The result that was no less surprising was the less convincing performance of Dewa United in the first two weeks. The runners-up of Liga 1 for the 2024/2025 season actually lost twice in a row.
Likewise with PSBS Biak and Persita Tangerang. Two disappointing results left the three teams stranded in the red zone.
