The composition of music and lyrics of Malang Suantai Sayang was written by Sal along with several of his relatives such as Nino Bukir (kendang), Juan Mandagie (string arranger), Mario Lasar (violin), Nonni Kaliama (violin), Galih Yoga (viola), Jonathan William (cello), Natania Karin (backing vocals), and Agustin Oendari (backing vocals). This song was recorded on Roemah Iponk (Karawaci), along with the mixing and mastering process carried out by Ivan Gojaya and Irene Edmar.
