Puan Alludes To Manipulative Business In Front Of Prabowo, Starting From Illegal Mining To Online Gambling

Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, alluded to the rise of a manipulative business in front of President Prabowo Subianto during the DPR Joint Session at the Parliament Complex, Friday, August 15.

Puan said that the manipulative business is a bitter pill that must be faced by the current community.

"We face a bitter reality, a small number of people with all their strengths actually exploit the people and natural resources through manipulative business practices," said Puan.

Puan's manipulative business includes illegal mining, online gambling (judol), drugs, and smuggling. According to Puan, the benefits taken by individuals in the manipulative business have exceeded the rationality limit.

"Their profits have exceeded the rationality limit of civilization," he said.

Puan then borrowed the term 'Serakahnomics' which was often conveyed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. According to Puan, 'Serakahnomics' is a greedy behavior that damages the joints of life of the nation and state.

"Facing this challenge, we need a comprehensive approach, covering politics, economy, law, culture, and joint commitment of all elements of the nation," said Puan.
