MPR Appreciates Prabowo's Speech Which Alludes To Saving Assets To The Indonesian Economy 5.12 Percent

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI from the PAN faction Eddy Soeparno appreciated President Prabowo's speech at the MPR and DPR Annual Sessions of the Republic of Indonesia 2025 which was held at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Friday, August 15.

Eddy said, in the speech Prabowo emphasized saving state assets and securing state assets for the benefit of the people.

"He emphasized about law enforcement that the government will not mess with corruption even within his own party," he told the media crew, Friday, August 15.

According to him, Prabowo's statement indicates that in the future no one will get relief related to corruption issues. Not only that, he also appreciated Prabowo's statement which would take firm action against illegal mining actors, which until now still amounted to 1.06 to law enforcement in the food sector.

"Including cooking oil. Indonesia as the largest producer of palm oil, it turns out that it often occurs that cooking oil is rare and expensive. It is also part of the President's law enforcement efforts to provide legal certainty and law enforcement in the food sector," he explained.

Furthermore, Eddy said, in fact, the Prabowo government has achieved many achievements even though it has not reached 300 days in office, such as economic growth reaching 5.12 percent and employment of approximately 1.2 million people.

"So in this case, we as the leader of the MPR but also as part of the party that carries and in a coalition with the President, we are committed to working extra hard so that various programs within the President's aspirations can be fulfilled in the future," he said.
