One UI 8 Beta Now Available For More Samsung Phones

JAKARTA - After the slow launch of One UI 7, Samsung is now moving fast by presenting One UI 8. Samsung became the first brand to release Android 16 beta with its custom interface (One UI 8 beta) in May 2025, but at that time beta was only available for the Galaxy S25 series.

After more than two months, Samsung has finally expanded the One UI 8 beta program to more Galaxy phones. The company has also announced plans for further expansion in September.

The following is a list of Samsung devices that currently receive the One UI 8 beta update:

Galaxy S25+

Galaxy S25 Ultra

Galaxy S24

Galaxy S24+

Galaxy S24 Ultra

Galaxy Z Fold 6

Galaxy Z Flip 6

It should be noted that this update is released in stages, so it may take some time before it appears on your device. In addition, the beta quota is limited, so you have to register quickly before the slot is full.

Having only one of the Samsung phones above is not enough to take part in the Beta One UI 8 program you also have to live in a eligible country. For the Galaxy S25 series, beta was originally released in the US, UK, Germany, and South Korea, then expanded to Poland and India.

As for other devices on the list, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6, beta One UI 8 series are available in four regions: South Korea, US, UK, and India.

How To Join The One UI 8 Beta Program

If you have a eligible Samsung device and stay in a supportive country, follow the following steps to get a beta update:

- Open the Samsung Members app on your phone (if not yet available, install it via the Galaxy Store).

- Find the One UI 8 beta banner and tap.

- Follow the instructions on the screen to join the beta program.

- Once registered, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and install to get beta updates.

- Download and install such updates.

Make sure the device has sufficient storage space and a battery of at least 30% for a smooth installation process. Remember, this is beta software, so there may be bugs or features that are not yet perfect.

Starting with the Galaxy S25 series last May, One UI 8 beta is now available for more Galaxy devices starting this week, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This update was released in four countries: South Korea, the US, UK, and India, with no official announcement of expansion to other regions.

However, Samsung has announced a beta expansion plan for next month. According to the official announcement, the company will release One UI 8 beta to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, and Galaxy A54 series in September.
