Axis Communication Establishes First Solution Center In Indonesia
JAKARTA Axis Communication, a network-based video and audio solutions provider, launched the Solution Center in Indonesia. This is the first facility they launched in the country.
Johny Dermawan, National Sales Manager of Indonesia Axis Communication, said that this facility may experience expansion in the future. The hope is that this facility will not only be available in Jakarta, but also in other cities.
The Axis Solution Center is a facility that functions as a technology gallery that displays the latest innovations. This facility is provided to answer the challenges of various security systems faced by distributors, resellers, and end customers.

In this facility, Axis Communication will also display the various solutions they have. Visitors can view network cameras, network audio, network intercoms, video management solutions, analytics, and many others.
Indonesia is the fourth country to have an Axis Solution Center in Southeast Asia. Apart from being in Indonesia, these facilities are also available in Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. In addition, this facility can be found in Australia, Japan, and India.
"The main goal (of the construction of the Axis Solution Center) is how we can help our partners, our business partners, and also our corporate customers to be able to experience directly the solutions and innovations of Axis," said Johny.
During the inauguration of this technology gallery facility, Axis Communication also explained the various solutions they offered. One of the products they develop is video surveillance. This product can be used to monitor areas with high risk.
The goal is to avoid various threats, including humans, objects, and others. For example, such as PTZ Axis' camera network technology used by Alert Wildfire in California. The network is used to track forest fires, identify hotspots, and monitor large-scale fires.
Basically, Axis Communication is trying to present technology that can prevent unwanted things from happening in the future, not just to see what happened in the past.
That way, all data collected can be used to monitor, manage, or launch the company's operations. For example, to prevent a technology from overheating, this camera network can provide warnings before overheating occurs.
In addition, surveillance cameras developed by Axis Communication can also prioritize the privacy of users, buildings, or rooms. This is done by setting a blurring system on recording results.
For example, when a company wants to record a room with limited access, a surveillance camera can blur the room. However, to maximize supervision, people who enter and leave the room will still be shown.
"The surveillance (camera) is not only a matter of detection, but also a matter of privacy because sometimes privacy is not yet a crucial point. However, as a Swedish Company, we are very concerned about privacy," explained Johny.
