Not Wanting To Be A Witness, Vadel's Attorney Revealed The Reason For 'Please' Fitri Salhuteru To Witness At The Court

JAKARTA - The presence of Fitri Salhuteru as a witness in the trial of the alleged immoral crime case involving Vadel Badjideh turned out to be not his own initiative, but a strategic step that was asked directly by the legal team.

Vadel's lawyer, Oya Abdul, revealed that he specifically asked Fitri's willingness to provide information because of her close background with the reporting party.

Oya Abdul straightened out that Fitri Salhuteru was not presented because of Fitri's personal desire to be involved.

"I don't want to be the one who begs, I ask him. Is he willing to testify," said Oya Abdul after the trial, Wednesday, August 13.

The reasons behind Fitri's election as a key witness are very clear. His closeness in the past with related parties such as Nikita Mirzani and his daughter, LM alias Lolly, is considered to have strong weight and relevance for the trial.

"Because why did I choose him because we all know he was someone who was very close to the reporter and Lolly's sister," he explained.

Although reluctant to divulge the contents of the testimony, Oya Abdul ensured that the information given was very positive for his party and came from events that occurred abroad.

"Witness is outside of Indonesia. What is conveyed is what, I cannot tell you. But what is certain is that the information is good," he concluded.
