These Are The 5 Demands For The Pati Regent's Demonstration Mass, One Of Which Rejects The Videotron Project Worth IDR 1.39 Billion

PATI Demonstrations from various elements of society are heating up in Pati City Square, right in front of the entrance to the Regency Hall, Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The crowd gathered since morning to protest against various policies of Pati Sudewo Regent.

Chaos began to occur when the police on guard were thrown at a mineral water bottle. The situation on the ground was getting tense until the masses forced their way to the square fence. In their oration, they filed five demands:

1. Demands Regent Sudewo to resign from office.

2. Rejecting the implementation of five school days.

3. Reject the renovation of Pati Square with a budget of IDR 2 billion.

4. Rejecting the total demolition of the Pati Square Mosque which is considered historic.

5. Rejecting the videotron project worth IDR 1.39 billion.

The masses considered the Regent of Sudewo to be too arrogant and issued policies that were not in favor of the people. Tensions peaked when a car from the Grobogan Police was burned by the masses, sparking widespread chaos.

The police dispatched dozens of Brimob personnel to guard the Pati Square fence and secure the area around the pavilion. A tight barcade was formed to prevent masses from entering the government area.

Until this news was revealed, the authorities were still on standby at the location to anticipate further clashes.
