Bangkok Becomes Popular City And Most Visited Asian Tourists

JAKARTA - Recently, the capital Thailand, Bangkok, was named the most popular and most visited city in Asia by tourists, according to Agoda, a global travel platform.

Bangkok secured the title as "The Most Popular City" for 2025. Four other major Thai tourist destinations, namely Phuket, Pattaya,manfaat Mai, and Hat Yay, are also included in the list of the top cities for repeated tourist visits.

The campaign is working with private sectors across Thailand, which promote new tourism such as health tourism, music festivals, sports, and international events.

Meanwhile, Thailand was previously named the cheapest tourist destination in the world. The average daily expenditure to travel in the country is only 81.87 dollars or around Rp. 1.3 million, according to financial firm The Forex Complex.
