Bribe Of East Java Pokmas Grant Funds, KPK Alleges Receipt Of Money Through Others
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there are parties who are involved in the handling of bribes for the management of grant funds for community groups from the East Java Provincial Budget. Three witnesses were questioned by investigators regarding this allegation on Tuesday, August 12.
"The witness was all investigated in relation to his role in bridging the receipt of money from community groups according to the request of the suspects," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, August 13.
The three witnesses examined were Fujik Senna Oktavia, Fitriyadi Nugroho, and Mochamad Riza Ghozali who were private parties. The three of them underwent examination outside the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"The examination was carried out at the Office of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the East Java Provincial Representative Office," said Budi.
Previously reported, the KPK again investigated the alleged bribery of grant funds for community groups or pokmas from the East Java Provincial Budget for the 2019-2022 Fiscal Year. 21 suspects have been determined from the development of the case.
They are cases that are state administrators or members of the East Java Provincial DPRD; AI, members of the East Java Provincial DPRD; MAH, members of the East Java Provincial DPRD; and AS members of the East Java Provincial DPRD; BW, JPP, HAS, SUK, AR, WK, AJ, MAS, AA, AYM, AH, RWS, MF, AM, and MM as private parties; FA as members of the Sampang Regency DPRD; and JJ who is a state administrator or member of the Probolinggo Regency DPRD.
In the process of running, a number of locations have been searched by investigators. Among them are the house of former DPD Chairman La Nyalla Mattalitti and the East Java Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) office.

Then, the KPK has also examined the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa some time ago. This request for information had a polemic because it was not carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta but at the East Java Regional Police.
Until now, 21 suspects have not been arrested. The anti-corruption commission argued that the detention was still waiting for the completeness of the evidence because requests for information against a number of witnesses were still being carried out.
