Head Of BGN Denies Fictitious Kitchen Issues In Free Nutrition Eating Program
JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana denied allegations of a fictitious Nutrition Service Fulfillment Unit (SPPG) that should have been operating distributing Free Nutrition Food (MBG).
Dadan emphasized that the location that was stated to be full was that the SPPG of partners on the official BGN portal was not fictitious, but had not yet been built.
"Not a fictitious kitchen. So for the process of becoming a partner, they proposed a construction location. Yes, it has entered and then we have distributed 14 thousand SPPIs who have graduated from base three education, and then they reported that some have been built, some have not," said Dadan when giving a press statement at the Presidential Palace. Jakarta, Tuesday 12 August.
Dadan explained that when applying to become a SPPG partner of BGN for the implementation of the MBG Program, prospective partners must determine the location of the SPPG.
In the case found by the Free Nutrition Food Community Forum, the registration of SPPG BGN partners has been closed due to the full quota. However, based on the findings in the field, many areas have not built a SPPG kitchen.
Based on a report from the Indonesian Development Mobilization Bachelor (SPPI) who will work in all SPPGs in Indonesia, Dadan revealed that there are several locations that have built and have not built SPPG.
"They (SPPI) reported that there were (SPPG) that had been built, some had not. So it's not fictitious, but some have booked a place but there has been no development," said Dadan.
Dadan detailed that as of Tuesday there are 17 thousand SPPG candidates who are being verified, with an acceleration process of up to 200300 verification per day.
He said that currently the beneficiaries of MBG have been served by 5,103 SPPGs spread throughout Indonesia.
