JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo has just proposed to his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, with a super luxury engagement ring that is really suitable for a billionaire.

Although Ronaldo and Georgina did not reveal who the ring maker was, experts estimated the price could reach between 2 million and 5 million US dollars (around Rp32 billion Rp81 billion).

Ajay Anand, CEO of Rare Carat, estimates the ring's precious stone is a white diamond with perfect clarity and a weight of more than 30 carats.

"The value could reach 5 million dollars," Anand said, quoted from the Page Six page.

Meanwhile, Laura Taylor, a engagement ring specialist from Lorel Diamonds, explained the choice of pieces.

"Oval cut is known to have a facet that makes the glare maximal, so that the stone looks alive and glowing from every corner," he said.

Taylor estimates the main stone will weigh between 15 and 20 carats, at a price of more than $2 million.
