SSB Semarang Opens Women's Football Class, Early Childhood Becomes A Forum

JAKARTA A number of soccer schools (SSB) in Semarang opened women's soccer classes after the Semarang Series 1 2025-2026 Milklife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) was a success.

The series of MLSC Series 1 Semarang 2025-2026 which took place at Diponegoro Tembalang University Stadium, Semarang, Central Java, was completed on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

In addition to the increasing quantity, the graph of the women's soccer players' abilities in processing the round skin on the field also continues to show a positive trend.

This made a number of SSBs in Semarang City immediately open special classes for women's footballers, including Bhaladika Pertiwi, Arema FC Women Academy, and Ratanika Putri Semarang.

Head Coach of MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Timo Scheunemann, appreciated SSB for making the breakthrough. He said that this step made young female footballers have a place to practice and hone skills.

"This also shows that we have a regeneration system that has gone very well because we really started from below," said Timo, who has a UEFA A coaching license in Koeln Germany since 2007.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge Semarang Series 1 2025-2026 was recorded to be attended by 1,213 students from 64 madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) and elementary schools (SD) in Semarang City and its surroundings.

Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Service, Yoppy Rosimin, said the event was continuing to be held to demonstrate the commitment of the Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service in encouraging the advancement of women's football.

"We will continue to encourage through organizing the tournament as an effort to maintain the regeneration of supply players. Thus, our vision to strengthen the position of Indonesian women's soccer in the eyes of the world will soon be realized," said Yoppy.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Semarang Series 1 2025-2026 gave birth to SDN Sendangmulyo 04 as the champion in the age group (KU) 12 and SDN Klepu 03 became the champion in the 10 year age group.

SDN Sendangmulyo 04 managed to climb the highest podium after defeating SDN Karangsono 2 Mranggen. Meanwhile, the KU-10 SDN Klepu 03 team was able to score the hat-trick champion after beating SDN Nasima with a score of 4-0.
