Super League 2025/2026 Schedule: Arema Challenges PSBS On Birthday

JAKARTA - The agenda for the first week of the Super League 2025/2026 continues on Monday, August 11, 2025. Arema FC will be present to face PSBS Biak in the closing match of the first week.

The Arema FC vs PSBS Biak meeting will take place at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, at 15.30 WIB. This match will be very important and meaningful for Singo Edan. Not only can they return home, but they also play debut matches on birthdays.

On August 11, 2025, Arema FC, which was founded in 1987, celebrated its 38th anniversary. On this special day, Marcos Santos as Arema's coach promised a different appearance.

Appearing his debut in the 2025/2026 Super League right on his anniversary, Santos wants Singo Edan to gain positive results after his previous appearances.

"Playing at home, Arema will appear different from the President's Cup or trial matches. Preparations are good enough, we will make this match a special day," he said.

Meanwhile, PSBS Biak coach, Divaldo Alves, assessed that the away match to Kanjuruhan would be a tough match. However, his team is ready to give a surprise even though they will play under the pressure of opposing supporters.

"We know Arema is having a birthday. Their supporters will come to party and win. However, we came here to get three points," said the Portuguese man.

Last season, Arema FC won 3-2 at home and drew 2-2 while playing at PSBS headquarters.
