Negotiated With Manchester United, AC Milan Chooses Rasmus Hojlund Or Dusan Vlahovic
JAKARTA - AC Milan is faced with two options after opening negotiations with Manchester United to recruit striker Rasmus Hojlund. Whether Milan remains on the line of recruiting Dusan Vlahovic or borrows Hojlund.
There are two choices for Milan to fill out the front line slot. Currently Milan is still trying to bring Vahovic from Juventus.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri, who has handled Vlahovic at the Bianconeri, hopes to bring him to Milan. But Milan are also considering recruiting Hojlund.
Yes, Hojlund has actually entered the Rossoneri radar. Especially after Manchester United tried to bring in Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamn Sesko. Even though they failed to attract Gyokeres who chose to join Arsenal, MU could get Sesko.
The presence of Sesko made Hojlund eliminated. He is increasingly difficult to get a place in the first team of Ruben Amorim.
Although the atmosphere prepared a two striker scheme like the Sir Alex Ferguson era that brought MU glory, the scenario did not appear to be patented.
Evidently, Hojlund was not played when MU tried out against Fiorentina which ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Amoritism actually put midfielder Mason Mount as a 'false nine'. When asked about this strategy, Amorim's statement showed that Hojlund was not included in the team design.
"We had a hard time without reliable strikers. But we already have new players. So we'll see," Amorim was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
Amorism's statement is a signal if the scenario of Sesko-Hojlund's front line duet is not likely to materialize.
Although ready to fight for a place in the first team, the players purchased at high prices, namely 73 million pounds in 2023, have been included in the MU selling list.
He is included in a group of players who are ready to be sold as well as Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony andaturah Malacia.
Hojlund's situation at Old Trafford, which is now under Milan's monitoring. MU himself is ready to release the striker of the Danish national team at a price of 40 million pounds. The price of the former Atalanta striker dropped dramatically because his performance at MU was indeed bad.

However, Milan made an offer for Hojlund's loan before making it permanent. On the other hand, MU asked for purchases without going through a loan. Or MU hopes Milan have permanently recruited him even though this season he borrowed Hojlund first.
Despite targeting Hojlund, Milan is also trying to complete the transfer of Vlahovic. However, Milan still hopes that Juve will lower the offering price for this Serbian striker.
