Peruvian President Dina Boluarte Arrives in Indonesia and Meets Prabowo Tomorrow

JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Peru, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, arrived in Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday, August 10, to meet with President Prabowo Subianto on Monday, August 11.

According to a live broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat, President Boluarte landed at around 4:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

Her arrival was warmly welcomed with regional dances and a number of officials, including Minister of Trade Budi Santoso and local officials.

As reported by Antara, President Boluarte is scheduled to meet with President Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta to discuss several important issues of interest to both countries.

Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, M. Yusuf Permana, has not yet provided further information regarding the meeting's agenda.

Previously, during a visit to Peru at the end of last year to attend the APEC Summit, President Prabowo extended an invitation to President Boluarte to visit Indonesia.
