The Number Of Jabodetabek Commuter Line Users Reaches 31.4 Million Throughout July 2025

JAKARTA - KAI Commuter re-recorded the growth trend of Jabodetabek Commuter Line users in July 2025. There were 31,400,484 Commuter Line users in the Greater Jakarta area, with the highest volume of 1,192,018 people on Tuesday, July 7.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Joni Martinus said, this figure is also the record for the highest daily volume throughout 2025.

Joni said that the achievement of July 2025 also recorded a growth of around 7.39 percent compared to the same period in 2024, which was 29,240,516 people.

"This increase reflects the public's high interest in public transportation modes that are safe, fast, and affordable," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, August 8.

In addition, according to Joni, it was also driven by the momentum of returning school activities after the holidays and increasing community mobility ahead of the new semester.

The same increase was also felt when compared to the previous month, namely June 2025 which was recorded at 28,204,967 people.

"July 2025 yesterday also increased by around 11.3 percent when compared to users in June," explained Joni.

Lintas layanan yang menghubungkan wilayah aglomerasi seperti Commuter Line Bogor, Commuter Line Cikarang, dan Commuter Line Rangkasbitung menjadi rute dengan volume pengguna terbanyak.

Tercatat, lintas Bogor sebanyak 13.981.877 pengguna, lintas Cikarang sebanyak 7.843.758 pengguna, dan lintas Rangkasbitung sebanyak 6.883.290 pengguna.

Lebih lanjut, Joni menambahkan, pada Juli 2025 kemarin, Stasiun Bogor dan Stasiun Tanah Abang merupakan stasiun pemberangkatan dan tujuan dengan jumlah pengguna terbanyak.

Stasiun Bogor mencatat sebanyak 1.632.070 orang yang naik dan sebanyak 1.637.289 orang yang turun, atau rata-rata 51.913 orang per hari yang naik dan 51.091 orang per hari yang turun di stasiun tersebut pada hari kerja.

“Di Stasiun Tanah Abang pada Juli 2025 kemarin tercatat sebanyak 1.461.211 orang yang naik dan 1.371.307 orang yang turun, dengan rata-rata sebanyak 51.422 orang yang naik dan 48.215 orang yang turun setiap hari kerja,” tandas Joni.

Tercatat, lintas Bogor sebanyak 13.981.877 pengguna, lintas Cikarang sebanyak 7.843.758 pengguna, dan lintas Rangkasbitung sebanyak 6.883.290 pengguna.

Furthermore, Joni added, in July 2025 yesterday, Bogor Station and Tanah Abang Station were departure stations and destinations with the highest number of users.

Bogor Station recorded 1,632,070 people who rose and 1,637,289 people who disembarked, or an average of 51,913 people per day who rose and 51,091 people per day who disembarked at the station on weekdays.

"At Tanah Abang Station in July 2025 yesterday, there were 1,461,211 people who went up and 1,371,307 people who went down, with an average of 51,422 people increasing and 48,215 people coming down every working day," said Joni.
