Trans Solo Batik Bus Collides With Batara Kresna Railbus, Gibran Apologizes

JAKARTA - The Batik Solo Trans or BST bus is coincident with the Batara Kresna railbus. This video of a series of BST with Batara Kresna was shared on social media.

The incident between Batik Solo Trans and the Batara Kresna railbus took place on Saturday, May 8 at Slamet Riyadi street. From the uploaded video, the position of the bus with the railbus is very tight. The rear-view mirror of the bus that had passengers was broken.

This Railbus gives horns repeatedly. But because the position was very tight, the BST mirror broke until finally, the railbus stopped. A video of this event was recorded by a BST passenger. 

For this incident, the Mayor of Surakarta Gibran Rakabuming Raka apologized. The statement was made on Instagram agendasolo.

"Sorry, we will evaluate it," said Gibran in the comments column on the Instagram account of agendasolo, which uploaded a video of a BST series with the Batara Kresna railbus.

Citizens immediately responded to Gibran's comments. They appreciate Gibran's quick action to evaluate this incident.

Someone gave Gibran suggestions for evaluation. "@gibran_rakabuming it's just a suggestion, mr. mayor. What if the BST is made in line with the flow of the vehicle, do not contraflow, because the risk is great. Thank you 🙏", he said

"@petrusronaldzend We will evaluate later. Slamet Riyadi's decision to become contraflow was already there before I took office," said Gibran.
