Realize Equality, Film Censorship Institute Reshuffles Official Sites To Be Disabilities Friendly
JAKARTA - Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia (LSF RI) pada Kamis, 7 Agustus telah meluncurkan situs resminya yang telah diperbarui https://lsf.go.id/ dengan tema Situs Ramah Disabilitas dan Inklusif.
This step is part of the commitment to provide inclusive, user-friendly, and easily accessible public services, including people with disabilities.
This site is designed to accommodate the need for digital accessibility, so that every user without exception can obtain valid, complete, and quality information regarding film censorship and film advertisements in Indonesia.
Presenting a number of excellent accessibility features that can be accessed by users with a variety of disabilities, including:
Color Contrast Settings: Providing high contrast options, dark/bright background, as well as a combination of vision-disability-friendly colors (low vision and color vision deficiency).

Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Prof. Dr. Bambang Wibawarta, SAS, MA in his speech said, as a new ministry, his party always strives to involve all parties in various aspects.
"As an effort to realize an equal cultured life, the Ministry of Culture fully supports the Film Censorship Institute to realize services for state institutions that are disability-friendly," he explained.
LSF RI is a state institution that is permanent and independent. This institution is tasked with assessing the feasibility of film films and advertisements before they are circulated and/or shown to the general public.
The policy of filtration, assessment, and research on film content before it is circulated and displayed is part of efforts to protect the public and realize people's rights to obtain quality and quality film content.
Film censorship is a mandate from Article 57 of Law (UU) Number 33 of 2009 concerning Film, where every film and film advertisement that will be circulated and performance must obtain a Sensor Passage Certificate (STLS) from the LSF.
To increase awareness of film actors in sorting, selecting, and determining films to be made, circulated, and shown to the public, LSF conducts censorship literacy activities as part of efforts to ensure production, circulation, and film performances in accordance with regulations/policies in Indonesia.
With the main goal of protecting the public from the negative impact of consuming film and film advertisements.
