Apple Awards 24K Gold-coated Gorilla Glass Statue And IDR 1,629 Trillion Investment For Trump
JAKARTA - In a captivating capitalism gesture, Apple presented US President Donald Trump with a work of art that may be the most expensive Corning Gorilla Glass glass in the world, or very luxurious paper retaining. This really depends on your point of view.
This statue consists of the Gorilla Glass disk with the gold Apple logo engraved on it, placed on a pure 24 carat gold base. Tim Cook revealed this gift during a press conference at the White House to celebrate Apple's promise to invest another 100 billion US dollars (IDR 1,629 trillion) into manufacturing in the US.

The writings "Apple American Manufacturing Program" and Made in USA are engraved on the Gorilla Glass disc, along with the full name of the President which is printed thick at the top. Tim Cook's signature is at the bottom of the glass circle that relies on the gold base made in Utah. The Gorilla Glass glass is designed by a former US Marine Corps kopral who now works at Apple.

In addition to awarding this unique statue, Apple CEO also announced the company's commitment to bringing more supply chains to the US, including the procurement of chips from Samsung facilities in America.
This is not the first time Apple has tried to establish a good relationship with President Trump. During Trump's first term, he praised Cook as a great 'executive.' Cook is also rumored to have frequently contacted Trump in person, until he was nicknamed The Trump Whisperer by media such as The New York Times.
Apparently, Cook has found a way to deal with the US President without the need to announce it on social media, unlike some other CEOs of technology.
