Israel's Airline Office In Paris Becomes A Target For Vandalism
JAKARTA - Israel's national airline office El Al in Paris, France, was targeted by vandalism. The perpetrator crossed out the front of the airline's office.
"Hateful and anti-Semitism actions have no place in our Republic," French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot wrote in X condemning vandalism.
Joshua Zarka, Israel's ambassador to Paris, also condemned the incident.
"This is just an attack, nothing more, nothing less, on Israeli companies, and on Israeli countries," he said.
France has seen an increase in hate crimes following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, and Israel's next military campaign in Gaza.
