JAKARTA - In the midst of his divorce process, Andre Taulany is said to be determined to end his household.

His legal team, Fahmi Bachmid, gave an in-depth view that a marriage cannot be forced to survive if one party has felt prolonged external and inner suffering, because it will actually create hell.

According to Fahmi, household matters are private domains that cannot be intervened by anyone. The decision to separate, he stressed, is someone's right when they feel they can no longer.

He warned that no party would force a marriage to continue if there was no happiness in it.

"When someone has stated that they cannot be married, don't force them to survive because it will be hell later, making them suffer for a long time," explained Fahmi.

For Fahmi, the basis of marriage is love and love. When that feeling has disappeared and changed with heartache and betrayal, separation is the best way.

"Households cannot be forced, because households come from the heart, love each other and so on. Because when you feel hurt, you feel betrayed, it must end," he concluded.
