JAKARTA - Interesting news comes for game lovers of Pokémon Go and Indonesian football lovers. In collaboration with PSSI, the character of Pikachu and the Indonesian national team jersey will appear in the Pokémon Go game which is ready to be arrested and collected.

The Pikachu in the Indonesian national team uniform will begin to be hunted by game lovers on a limited basis, starting from August 4 to 9, 2025.

"From today until August 9, Pikachu is dressed in Indonesian football uniforms in every raid in various cities in Indonesia that can be arrested by coaches," said APAC Regional Marketing at Niantic Director Hui Elaine.

In addition, three young Indonesian national team players, namely Witan Sulaeman, Ariyansyah Abdulrahman, and Viny Silfianus also enlivened the collaboration. They released a training video with Pikachu and Cinderace.

In the video, they voice the spirit of playing and learning fun related to football. Starting from being mendribel, passing, and shooting easily so that the kids can try it on their own.

Not only that, there will also be Pokémon Day, in Indonesia's match against Macau for the 2025 AFF U23 Championship, at Gelora Delta Sidoarjo, Surabaya, on September 6, 2025. In that match, there will be a special match of collaboration with Pokémon.

Pikachu in Indonesian football and Cinderace, as well as the Pokémon Striker will appear. Later there will be a thousand children affiliated with the football club around who are invited, who are expected to be more inspiring and more in love with football.
