Asahan Police Arrest Armed Robbers Gang, BNNK Persons Involved
The Asahan Police Satreskrim Jatanras Unit managed to arrest three perpetrators of armed robbery who often disturb the public. Sadly, one of the perpetrators is known to be an employee of the Asahan National Narcotics Agency (BNNK).
The three perpetrators with the initials HRF (36), MI alias Zaki (32), and ND alias Cucut (19), are all residents of East Kisaran District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra). In their action, they used firearms allegedly made by PT Pindad as well as two automatic pistols.
The last robbery was carried out on Friday, July 18 in Neighborhood II, Aek Loba Pekan Village, Aek Alasan District. The victim suffered losses of up to IDR 6 million. Based on the results of the investigation, the perpetrators have acted in four different locations in the Asahan area.
Head of BNNK Asahan Adrea Retha Zulhelfi confirmed the involvement of individuals from his agency. However, he emphasized that only one person was involved, not two.
"If it is guilty, we will submit it to the police according to the rules," he said when confirmed, Monday, August 4.

From the results of the arrest, the police confiscated evidence in the form of four motorbikes, five cellphones, and 80 9 millimeter caliber bullets (mm). The three perpetrators are now being held at the Asahan Police Headquarters for further investigation.
