The Population Plan Leaks! Israel's Highest General Against Netanyahu's Efforts To Control Gaza Without Leave

JAKARTA - The Israeli government is reportedly at odds over the future of the Gaza Strip in the Pelestina region. The split emerged between Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel's Supreme General, Eyal Zamir.

Israeli media said Supreme General Eyal Zamir opposed Netanyahu's efforts to occupy Gaza completely without any remnant.

Israel's opposition leader, Yair Lapid, accused Netanyahu of leaking the internal dispute with a specific purpose.

"When the Supreme General finds out that every argument will leak, when he finds out that they will reverse it, he will not say everything he thinks," Lapid wrote on his X account, quoted by Al Jazeera, Tuesday, August 5.

"Decision making [becoming] disrupted," he continued.

Several ministers have reportedly said that Netanyahu has personally used the term "resident of the Gaza Strip" to illustrate his vision of Gaza's future.

According to Lapid, internal disputes in government should not be disseminated because it can interfere with policies to be taken.

"I have also argued with the IDF chief, as foreign minister, and as prime minister. Some of them are not simple. There is only one thing that is clear to us: they must remain behind closed doors," said Lapid.
