AI Fur Grok Imagine Can Produce Photos With Nudity Elements

JAKARTA xAI, Elon Musk's Artificial Intelligence (AI) company, has launched an image and video generator named Grok Imagine. This tool is officially available for Premium customers.

This new feature is available on Grok, via X, this iOS version offers quite an interesting feature. Users can create content with the Not Safe For Work (NSFW) genre or content that is inappropriate for the public to see because it displays sensitive material.

NSFW content usually includes nudity, pornography, violence, and much more. Although Grok Imagine gets the ability to produce images explicitly, xAI still applies a number of boundaries related to the type of content that can be generated.

When a user seeks to create content with nudity elements or other explicitity, the image will be blurred as part of the platform's moderation. This shows that xAI is still applying filters to fairly explicit content.

However, this filter still has a flaw because it can be multiplied. TechCrunch reports that they managed to create images that were classified as semi-nature after trying their features several times.

With the launch of this more explicit capability, there are concerns about content abuse. If not restricted, Grok Imagine can be used as a deepfake content creator. Fortunately, there has been no report on this.

Grok Imagine imposes restrictions on content involving celebrities. When asked to create a picture of Donald Trump who was pregnant, Grok Imagine only produced a picture of Trump holding a baby or beside a pregnant woman.

Basically, Grok Imagine's ability to produce NSFW content is not so surprising. This is in line with Elon Musk's vision, where the billionaire wants to have an AI that doesn't apply filters excessively.

Although still in its early stages, Grok Imagine shows impressive potential. This generator can produce images in seconds. In fact, these images can be simulated into 15-second videos with original audio.
