KRL Commuter Line Drops At Jakarta Kota Station, Passengers Evacuated

JAKARTA - KAI Commuter apologizes for the operational constraints of Commuter Line Bogor due to the drop in the Commuter Line No. 1189 Bogor-Jakarta City relations at the Jakarta City Station assembly.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Joni Martinus ensured that all passengers were successfully evacuated safely by officers on duty in the field.

"The safety of passengers is our top priority, and we will immediately take action to avoid further potential danger," Joni said in an official statement, Tuesday, August 5.

After that, continued Joni, the relevant officers immediately carried out the process of evacuating the Commuter Line series as well as repairing and examining facilities and infrastructure for the renormalization of the Commuter Line travel service operations.

"For Commuter Line travel services, KAI Commuter will make efforts to engineer operating patterns to ensure that other Commuter Line trips remain served, especially in the Bogor-Manggarai route," he said.

Not only that, Joni said KAI Commuter will also conduct an investigation to find out the exact cause of this incident.

"We will provide further updates as soon as we get additional information," he explained.

For train travel, continued Joni, KAI Commuter will continue to provide the latest information to customers.

"KAI Commuter apologizes for the inconvenience experienced by affected users. The safety and comfort of users remains our top priority," said Joni.
