TNI Personnel Guard At Jampidsus House, AGO: Security, Handling Corruption Cases
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said that the deployment of the TNI to guard the home of the Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Diansyah was limited to security. Because, it is currently handling several corruption cases.
"Yes, it just so happens that Mr. Febrie is the Deputy Attorney General who specializes in handling corruption cases. Yes, you know, it must be security," said Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna to reporters, Monday, August 4.
This statement also denied the rumors that Jampidsus' house, which is located on Jalan Jl Radio I, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, was about to be searched but failed. This is because a number of TNI personnel expelled it.
Still referring to the news, the search attempt was carried out by the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police.
Anang emphasized that the deployment of the TNI had been carried out for a long time, especially since the MoU between the TNI Commander and the Attorney General.
"If our security is already with the MoU with the TNI, the TNI Commander to the Attorney General. Then we also have a Presidential Decree," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the search at Jampidsus' house, Anang firmly denied it. So far, there has been no search in question.
"Nothing. Where did the source come from? The source must be clear, so far there is none," he said.
In fact, it was stated that Jampidsus Febrie Diansyah was still based as usual.
"Entering (Jampidsus with offices as usual), is there," said Anang.
