7 Karaoke Hours Ended In Disaster: One Woman Died, Two Criticals In Kediri
KEDIRI - Kediri City Police, East Java, confiscated CCTV footage as a result of the discovery that a woman died after a drinking party at a nightclub in the Kediri Regency area.
"We have processed the TKP (the crime scene). The evidence we have secured includes CCTV, as well as the remains of liquor allegedly consumed by the victims," said Kediri City Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Cipto Dwi Leksana, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 4
He said from reports that three people entered the victim, all of whom were women. One of them died while the other two were hospitalized.
The victim died with the initials IB (32), a resident of Bujel Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri City. While the other two are also women with the initials G and H. They are still being treated at the Kediri City area hospital.
The case is known to have occurred on Friday, August 1. At that time, the three victims came with a group of four women and three men visited a nightclub in Maron Village, Banyakan District, Kediri Regency.
At that place, they karaoke and a seven-hour liquor party, from 20.00 WIB to 04.00 WIB.
In that incident, the female victim was found unconscious until she was rushed to the hospital. They were then hospitalized, but one of them died.
The police said that from the results of the medical examination, it was known that the victim died from alcohol poisoning.
"As a result of the initial investigation that we have carried out from this information, a doctor's diagnosis stated that there were alcohol poisoning or alcohol poisoning in the three victims," he said.
AKP Cipto also added that his party was still investigating this case. Investigations continue, including to reveal the origin of the liquor.
