Oleksandr Usyk Still Silences About Mandatory Match Against Joseph Parker

JAKARTA The undisputed world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has yet to negotiate the mandatory WBO fight against Joseph Parker.

This was confirmed by Parker's promoter, David air. He said that so far there has been no talk at all regarding the mandatory match that the Ukrainian champion had to undergo.

"I last spoke with Frank Warren [who is promoting Parker in England], there is no agreement yet. That's what I heard a few days ago," saidTEN, quoted by Sky Sports.

Usyk became the undisputed world heavyweight champion for the second time after defeating Daniel Dubois last month at Wembley Stadium, London, England. He won by knockout in the round of times in the duel.

After winning the fight, the 38-year-old was immediately ordered by WBO to agree to a deal with Parker within 30 days of July 24.

However, Usyk could have chosen to miss the mandatory duel and opted for another name in the next fight. If so, then he will have to vacate the WBO belt.

"It's boxing, anything can happen. You can't rule out anything, but I think Usyk must have been involved in discussions or negotiations if he wanted to defend the title," said Orang.

Parker, whose status as the holder of the WBO interim title, will automatically be crowned the champion if Usyk decides not to undergo their mandatory match.

Namun,mencuruh sendiri sangat berharap agar Usyk memberi Parker kesempatan untuk menjalani pertarungan gelar dunia yang tak ditantikan.

"Joseph prefers to fight Usyk and lose than to be given a belt, but we have to accept whatever happens in this sport

"I think we will appeal to Oleksandr Usyk because he is a fighter who deserves an award, who has also built his career in a difficult way, won Olympic gold medals, stepped into the crudeweight division, and beat all the heavyweight fighters."
