Re-Pilkada 2025 In Bangka, 1,400 Security Personnel Deployed
JAKARTA - The Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police (Polda Babel) has prepared 1,400 joint personnel to secure the 2025 re-election of Regional Heads (Pilkada) in Bangka Regency.
"We have 1,400 joint personnel to ensure that the re-cash implementation runs safely, smoothly and in an orderly manner," said the Babel Police Chief, Inspector General of Police. Hendro Pandowo during a working visit at the Bangka Police, Friday, was confiscated by Antara.
He said security was carried out thoroughly, starting from the final stages of the campaign, calm times, voting days, to inauguration.
"Thousands of joint personnel for securing the 2025 re-Pilkada, consisting of elements from the National Police, TNI, Civil Service Police Unit, Community Protection and supported directly by Forkopimda," explained the Kapolda.
According to him, personnel were deployed to secure in a number of places such as polling stations, KPU offices, Bawaslu offices, to locations deemed prone to disturbances in security and public order.
"We provide full support to the Bangka Police, including through the deployment of troops from the Directorate of Security for Vital Objects (Ditpamobvit) and Brimob Units," explained the Kapolda.
Hendro reminded all police personnel to maintain neutrality and professionalism in carrying out their duties.
"I reiterate to all members to focus on security, maintain neutrality, lest anyone be involved in practical politics," he said.

Based on the 2025 Bangka Re-Pilkada stage, the Bangka KPU's calm period stipulates on August 24 and the vote is scheduled for August 28, 2025.
It is recorded that four pairs of candidates for the 2025 re-cash elections have been officially determined by the Bangka Regency KPU, namely Andi Kusuma paired with Budiyono, Fery Insani paired with Syahbudin, Aksan Visyawan paired Rustam Jasli and Naziarto paired with Usnen.
