JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikes) noted that the loading and unloading volume or throughput reached 22.4 million tons per cubic meter until June 2025. This figure increased 6.05 percent compared to the same period the previous year of 21.1 million tons.

President Director of PTP Nonpetikes Indra Hidayat Sani said that in 2025, PTP Nonpetikes will continue to strengthen operational performance in order to achieve the throughput target of 53.5 million tons per cubic meter.

Indra said the contribution of the flow of goods came from four main types of packaging, namely 45 percent dry bulk, 27 percent general cargo, 22 percent liquid bulk and 6 percent bag cargo.

Until Semester I 2025, PTP Nonpetikes also recorded an increase in throughput in various types of packaging. In general cargo, the top three branches are Tanjung Priok with 4,633,805 tons per cubic meter, up 29.81 percent from 2024.

"The growth in general cargo services is driven by an increase in loading and unloading activities at the Tanjung Priok branch, especially from steel products," he said.

Meanwhile, in the liquid bulk, continued Indra, significant contributions came from the Jambi Branch which served the shipment of condensates belonging to PT Juli Raya Samodra, as well as the increase in the volume of cooking oil belonging to PT Ligita Jaya which was handled by the Bayur Bay Branch.

For dry bulk, the Cirebon branch recorded positive growth thanks to coal loading and unloading activities belonging to PT Indragarda Paling Gesit, PT Abra Cirebon Sakti, and PT Eka Nusa Dwi Sapta. The volume of sand from PT Abra Cirebon Sakti also increased.

"Meanwhile, the performance of the cargo bag was boosted by the smooth distribution of cement in Teluk Bayur Branch and the increasing traffic of fertilizer packaging bags produced by PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda," he said.

Indra said to realize the throughput target of 53.5 million tons, PTP Nonpetikes implemented a number of strategic programs, including terminal modernization, direct collaboration with cargo owners and logistics actors.

Then, continued Indra, providing an integrated Port Management Service based on Planning and Control through Pelindo Terminal Operating System Multipurpose (PTOS-M). As well as strengthening aspects of Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE).

"Our 2025 target reflects our commitment to growth and excellence. We believe this target can be achieved through terminal modernization, business expansion, and strengthening collaboration with loading and unloading entrepreneurs and other strategic partners," he said.
