Samsung Leaks Plan To Launch TriFold Phone And Android XR Headset

JAKARTA Samsung has again leaked plans to launch two of its newest devices, namely TriFold or triple cellphones and Android XR headsets, in its latest financial report.

Before discussing the two devices, Samsung highlighted the success of the launch of its newest foldable phones. Continuing the public enthusiasm for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, Samsung will launch other innovative devices later this year.

Samsung plans to expand its device ecosystem through TriFold and Android XR headsets. Hopefully, they can create a more integrated experience by providing the best features, including those related to health.

"(We) aim to lead the market by expanding our ecosystem through innovative form factors such as the upcoming TriFold devices and our first XR headset as well as services such as connected health," Samsung said, citing from Seeking Alpha.

It is unclear what health services Samsung mentioned in its earnings report. Chances are, this service refers to the ability to subscribe to fitness programs.

For the launch date, Samsung did not disclose a specific date regarding the launch of TriFold and Android XR headsets. However, a leak in circulation stated that TriFold would be coming in October.

It is not certain whether the two devices will be launched simultaneously or separately. Samsung did not mention the details of the launch of these two devices.

In addition to discussing the TriFold and Android XR headsets, Samsung also hinted at the launch of other devices such as the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series. This shows that Samsung continues to be committed to expanding its device ecosystem.
