Family Opens Donations For Bassist Great White Brain Tumor Operation, Scott Snyder

JAKARTA - Scott Snyder, bassist of the music group Great White, is being sentenced to suffer from a fairly large tumor in the head. Surgery procedures must be carried out immediately to prevent a worse impact.

Victoria Anders, Scott's sister-in-law, opened donations for operating costs through GoFundMe some time ago. The fundraiser is also aimed at their other brother, Angelique.

"I started this GoFundMe with my brothers and sisters to support our sister Angelique and our brother-in-law Scott," Victoria wrote, quoted from Blabbermouth on July 31.

The tumor, which was in Scott Snyder's brain, was unknown until symptoms began to appear. The family was surprised when they found out the size of the tumor which was as big as a fist.

"This journey is tough, starting when Scott begins to experience changes in vision, headache, and confusion, without knowing for sure what caused it," he said.

"When the symptoms started to get worse and often, they decided to go to the emergency department. Doctors found a mass the size of a fist in his brain. He was then hospitalized and underwent emergency brain surgery a week ago."

Now 63 years old, Scott Snyder has joined Great White since 2008. At the end of 2023, he also took a break from band activities to undergo spinal surgery. Now support from those closest to him needs to recover from a tumor attack.
