Rocky Hybrid Price Is Close to Fronx, Suzuki Says

TANGERANG - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has responded to the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid's price, which is not much different from the Fronx coupe-style SUV.

The Rocky Hybrid is priced at IDR 293.9 million, and is available in only one variant. This price is also valid for orders at GIIAS 2025, with deliveries starting in November 2025.

Meanwhile, the Suzuki Fronx starts at IDR 259 million for the GL variant, while the GX (mild hybrid) is priced at IDR 276 million, and the SGX (mild hybrid) goes all the way up to IDR 321.9 million.

Suzuki Indomobil Sales Marketing Director Harold Donnel said that consumers now have other hybrid model options in the compact SUV segment. However, the Fronx itself has advantages that are significantly different from its competitors.

"We're still confident, meaning consumers will be able to choose a more suitable vehicle. What the Fronx offers is very different from the others," he said when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

The man, familiarly known as Harold, further explained that the Fronx is an SUV coupe and its driving style is also different.

"The technology offered is also different, and there's Suzuki Safety Support. ADAS is class-leading. Our car is completely new, not a minor or major change, but a new model," he added.

In fact, he believes the Fronx model is also a pioneer for new consumers who have never purchased a Suzuki car before. Thirty percent of Fronx customers are first-time Suzuki buyers.

"We still strongly believe we can attract the Indonesian public," he concluded.
