Harmoni Zaman Presents Five Singers Who Become Icon Children's Songs In The 70s-80s
JAKARTA Five figures who brought memories of childhood in the 70s and 80s returned to the stage at the Harmoni Zaman event. Located at the Ministry of Culture at the Binakarna Ballroom, Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta on Monday, July 28, this event became a nostalgic moment as well as a form of appreciation for those who had filled millions of Indonesian children's childhood with moral songs.
They are Adi Bing Slamet, Chicha Koeswoyo, Vien Is Haryanto, Iyut Bing Slamet, and Fitria Elvy Sukaesih who appear with memorable songs such as Mama, Helly, Bebebebekku, to Horse Train. These songs are not just entertainment, because through music and lyrics they can instill noble and positive values.
Minister of Culture Fadli Zon emphasized that the Harmoni Zaman is a form of respect for child singers who have contributed greatly to the Indonesian music ecosystem. They are national treasures. The song that was born in the past was not only entertaining, but also educating," said Fadli in a written broadcast, July 29.
This event is also part of the commemoration of National Children's Day last July 23, and is the fourth event of Harmoni Zaman by the Ministry of Culture. Since it was first held, this event has become a space for appreciation across generations for musicians from the 60s to the present.

The event was opened by children from the Wonderkid Studio who performed the song Child of Indonesia Baru. There were also a number of senior artists such as Addie MS, Dewa Budjana, and Komeng, as well as Director General of Cultural Development Ahmad Mahendra, Inspector General of Culture Fryda Lucyana, and Director of Film, Music, and Syaifullah Arts.
The highlight of the event was marked by the handover of a certificate of appreciation by Minister Fadli Zon to legendary singers and Yanuar Ishak, one of the most influential children's songwriters of his time.
"Hopefully more Indonesian singer and songwriters will be born that are relevant to the times. We need to continue to create space for them to grow," concluded Fadli.
