The National Police Chief Hopes That The MBG Program Will Be Distributed Properly
BANDARLAMPUNG - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo hopes that the Free Nutrition Eating Program (MBG) initiated by the President can be distributed properly and on target.
"We hope that the MBG program can be realized properly, so that children can benefit from it," said the National Police Chief at the Lampung Police Headquarters, Monday, July 28, as reported by ANTARA.
To support this program, there were 359 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) including 20 SPPGs that had laid the first stone for construction in the ranks of the Lampung Regional Police.
"The construction of the SPPG is a form of Polri's commitment to support President Prabowo Subianto's national program, especially the MBG program," he said.
Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika explained that currently the Lampung Police have 15 Polres who jointly built 20 SPPGs with a target of serving 52,564 beneficiaries spread across 269 schools in this area.
"In the future, there will be an additional two SPPGs at the Polresta and one SPPG at the Lampung Regional Police," he said.

He conveyed that this program is an acceleration step in reducing stunting and improving children's nutrition as an investment in the quality of education.
"Of course we also appreciate the support of the provincial and district/city governments in Lampung in this MBG program," he said.
