Mandalika And Gili Trawangan Become Destinations For National Forum Contingent VIII 2025
JAKARTA Mandalika and Gili Trawangan are included in a destination that will be visited by the contingent from the VIII 2025 National Community Sports Festival (Fornas) which will take place from July 26 to August 1, 2025.
The visit plan to Mandalika is included in the agenda of the Head of Facilities and Infrastructure of the Department of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Tourism of Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan (Kalteng), Herlina Yulianti.
Herlina was present at Fornas VIII 2025 in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) to accompany the Deputy Regent of Pulau Pisang, Ahmad Jayadikarta. They came to support the Central Kalimantan contingent.
"In addition to accompanying athletes, we also plan to travel, and our main goal is Mandalika," said Herlina in a statement received.

Fornas VIII 2025 recorded a total of 18 thousand participants and accompanying teams from 38 provinces. The details, consisting of 12,387 match activists and 3,870 official match kits.
All of them came from 74 Main Sports Organizations (Inorga), 13 Exhibition Inorga, and three special invitations from the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
The contingent from Central Kalimantan came with the strength of 374 participants. They competed in 36 Main Sports Organizations (Inorga).
Herlina said that the preparations made by the host were very thorough. He also praised all available facilities as well as the opening ceremony featuring various cultural attractions typical of NTB.
"It's amazing, from the reception at the airport, we were warmly welcomed. Even airport taxis don't raise prices, this is something we rarely encounter, and of course this shows the readiness and friendliness of the NTB Kormi committee," he said.
Similar praise came from Atin as Chair of the Indonesian Dance Mix Gymnastics Association (ISDMI) of Southeast Sulawesi Province. He admitted that he was impressed by the condition of the host's environment.
"The impression is extraordinary, especially at the opening of tonight. The performance of the dances is very stunning."
"The people of NTB are also very friendly. We are greeted with smiles everywhere, both at lodging and at shopping places," he said.
Unlike Herlina, Atin plans to be with her entourage to enjoy Gili Trawangan's beauty after accompanying athletes.
"After the competition, we will also take a vacation to Gili Trawangan with the group," he added.
Furthermore, NTB will host the National Sports Week (PON) in 2028. They held this important event with East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
