Foreigner Admits Interpol Robb Money Changer In Kuta Bali
The Kuta Sector Police, Bali, arrested a foreigner from Azerbaijan with the initials TFO (35) who is an alleged perpetrator of theft of money belonging to a money changer (money exchange place) in Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.
Head of the Public Relations Section of the Denpasar Police, AKP Ketut Sukadi, said that apart from stealing money, the foreigner also abused money changer employees at Villa Aura Segara, Jalan Banjar Segara Kuta, Badung, Bali.
The total money that was robbed by the perpetrator was Rp. 191,150,000. The perpetrator strangled and strangled the victim, then took the money on the table and then fled," said Sukadi, Monday, July 28.
Sukadi explained that initially the alleged perpetrator contacted the operator of PT. Arta Jaya Dewata to exchange USD 12,000 in cash. The alleged perpetrator asked that the money be delivered to Aura Segara Villa, Jalan Segara Merta No. 8, Tuban, Kuta, Badung.
Furthermore, two employees named Moch total Tan and M Faisal left for the villa with Rp191,150,000.
After arriving at the villa, the two employees counted the money, but after finishing counting, the foreigner's friend came claiming to be Interpol, then immediately attacked the two employees until they finally ran away with the money.
However, when he was about to run away, one of the employees crashed into the perpetrator's motorbike and fell on the street. Hundreds of millions of money was scattered on the road.

Sukadi said that after being interrogated by officers, the foreigner admitted his actions.
The perpetrator took action with his friend Johny, but Johni managed to escape at the time of the incident. His citizenship status has not been disclosed by the police.
"The motive is the economy to meet the needs of life," concluded Sukadi.
