Can Matheus Cunha Face Pressure To Fix Manchester United's Goal Problems?

JAKARTA - Matheus Cunha admitted that he was not afraid to face pressure to overcome the problem of Manchester United's goal.

Head coach Ruben Amorim emphasized that his priority in the transfer market this summer was to recruit goalscorers after his team scored only 44 goals in the 2024/2025 Premier League and finished 15th.

Cunha, who scored 15 goals for Wolverhampton Wanderers for the 2024/2025 season, joined Bryan Mbeumo, who scored 20 goals for Brentford, for a total value of 135 million pounds.

The Brazilian admits that he will be the center of attention at Old Trafford. However, he said he was happy with the privilege of playing for one of the largest clubs in the world.

"I don't think the pressure on this club is real pressure. It's a privilege because it's one of the biggest clubs in the world."

"I feel like this is a challenge I want to do for my career. For me, Manchester United has always been one of the clubs I want."

"I feel that I can be a part of the process, something that is an extraordinary privilege," said Cunha.

Meanwhile, in his first press conference in the summer at Soldier Field, Chicago, Amorim revealed that Cunha and Mbeumo rejected the Champions League club to join Manchester United.

Arsenal are among the clubs interested in Cunha, but the 26-year-old said he was only interested in moving to Old Trafford.

"This is my dream club. Here's the question, you know. This is my dream club."

"When I first met Ruben, I felt they were starting to build something very important. Of course, I wanted to be a part of this," he said.

Matheus Cunha is very confident that he can answer the challenges regarding the issue of Manchester United's goal. The public is certainly waiting for proof.
