Kaesang Leaks Initials J Becomes Chairman Of The PSI Board Of Trustees

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep revealed that the figure with the initials J will serve as Chairman of the PSI Board of Trustees.

"The initials are temporary, yes, the one with the initials J is willing to become the Chairman of the Board of Trustees," said Kaesang as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 28.

However, he was Kaesang when asked if the figure with the initials J was the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Just look at it later, if not, it will be less curious," he said.

Kaesang said that a number of management structures of the PSI DPP for the 2025-2030 period would be re-announced in the near future, including the position of the PSI Board of Trustees.

"The supervisory board posts will be announced soon, soon, soon. God willing, within one month, fully from the Board of Trustees, DPP, and the Expert Council, we will announce everything in less than a month," he said.

Meanwhile, he said, the inaugural meeting of the PSI DPP Management Formatur Team today only announced the position of Secretary General (Sekjen) and General Treasurer of the PSI DPP for the period 2025-2030.

"For the Secretary General, it is still the same, Mr. Raja Juli Antoni will accompany me. In the position of General Treasurer, the person is still unable to attend today, Mrs. Fenty Noverita," said Kaesang.

Previously, Saturday (19/7), the youngest son of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep, was re-elected as Chairman of the DPP of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) for the period 2025-2030 through an online voting process conducted by cadres.

In the PSI 2025 Congress which was held at Graha Saba Buana, Solo, Central Java, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the PSI Congress Andi Budiman announced that Kaesang Pangarep as the incumbent was elected as the General Chair with 65.28 percent of the votes, defeating another candidate for chairman, namely Ronald A. Sinaga or Bro Ron and Agus Mulyono Herlambang.
